Reach & Teach is excited to announce the official launch of The FITRAH Framework, an originally developed framework and signature training offering created by Asmaa Albadawi, Founder and Instructional Coach of Reach & Teach.
The FITRAH Framework was first introduced at ISLA’s Research Symposium in April 2026, where it was shared as an Islamic, proactive approach to classroom management. The framework is designed to help schools move beyond isolated, reactive behavior management and toward a more integrated system rooted in the child's fitrah. (FITRAH = Formative, Intentional, Tarbiyah-based, Relational, Assertive, and Holistic.)
This 3-day professional development experience introduces educators to the FITRAH Framework—my personal deen-centered approach to classroom management, developed through years of classroom experience, instructional coaching, and work across Islamic schools. FITRAH stands for Formative, Intentional, Tarbiyah-based, Relational, Assertive, and Holistic—a proactive, preventative framework that aligns effective classroom practices with the natural disposition (fitrah) of students and the goals of Islamic education.
Through interactive workshops, small-group training, and practical resources, educators learn to move beyond reactive discipline toward proactive, structured classrooms. The training addresses both how teachers respond to behavior and how they design systems—routines, procedures, and expectations—that prevent challenges before they arise. Participants leave with a clear, cohesive framework along with ready-to-use strategies, language, and tools they can immediately apply in their classrooms.
Ideally, this training spans 3 consecutive full days; however, depending on your unique schedule and needs, this training can be customized to be spread across a longer time frame or to not include the small-group practical lab sessions. This can be decided when we discuss your needs.
