I am PROUDLY a product of Islamic schooling, and I have spent much of my life involved in Islamic schools — as a student, a Sunday school teacher, a full-time classroom teacher, an instructional coach, and now as someone who supports Muslim educators through professional development.
Over the years, I have seen Islamic schools from many angles. I experienced them as a student, taught in them for years, worked alongside teachers and administrators, and watched family members navigate them as educators, parents, and students. That layered perspective shaped the way I see this work.
I deeply believe in and am extremely passionate about Islamic education. As teachers, we would sometimes receive professional development that was helpful in theory, but disconnected from our actual Islamic school realities — our schedules, staffing limitations, resources, cultures, community expectations, and the deen-centered guidelines that shape what we can and cannot do in our classrooms. At the same time, I know our schools have real gaps, real needs, and real challenges. But I have never believed in simply criticizing from the outside. My belief has always been that if we see a need, we should try to bring solutions, support the people doing the work, and become part of the improvement.
Reach & Teach grew out of that conviction. I wanted to create professional development that Muslim educators did not have to translate, filter, or force-fit into their classrooms — training that understands Islamic school realities, honors the role of deen, and gives teachers practical support they can actually use.

What educators are saying.
Muslim educators deserve training that sees and understands them.
The work of Islamic education is a sacred amanah (trust), and the teachers who show up for Muslim students every day deserve support that honors the weight and beauty of that responsibility. They deserve training that is practical, meaningful, and rooted in the same values they are working so hard to pass on, not with judgment or criticism, but with sincere support for the realities they face.
