FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions.

Services may be requested by full-time Islamic schools, part-time Islamic schools (such as weekend schools, after-school, or hifdh programs), individual Muslim preK-12 educators (working in Islamic or public schools), school leaders/board members, and organizations serving Muslim students, both in the USA and internationally.
Reach & Teach offers training on many topics under two main themes: REACH and TEACH. Please visit the Topics page to explore the full list. Note: Many topics can also be expanded into follow-up sessions, Part 2 trainings, deeper implementation workshops, multi-session packages, or full-day deep-dive seminars.
Yes. Trainings can be adjusted based on your school’s grade levels, staff needs, schedule, current challenges, and professional development goals.
I am based in the Kansas City area, USA, and offer both in-person and virtual training. In-person training outside the Kansas City area is available, with travel expenses added to the training fees and invoiced to the client. Virtual services are available for schools and organizations outside the United States. International in-person training may be considered depending on location, scheduling, travel arrangements, and overall feasibility.
Reach & Teach is especially designed for Islamic schools and Muslim educators, but some trainings may be adapted for other school settings depending on the topic, audience, and goals. You are welcome to reach out to discuss whether a training would be a good fit.
Yes. While Reach & Teach is especially designed for Islamic schools and Muslim educators, some trainings can be adapted to focus on general instructional practices without explicit Islamic framing. This can be discussed during the planning process based on the school’s setting, audience, and goals.
You may begin by scheduling an optional Zoom meeting through the calendar on the Reach & Teach website. During the meeting, we will discuss your school’s needs, goals, timeline, and possible training options. After a plan is finalized, you will submit the official service request form through the website. If your school is using Title funds, public funding, or district funding, Reach & Teach will prepare the required proposal and invoice for your district’s process. If your school or organization is paying directly, Reach & Teach will send the contract agreement and invoice directly to you. Please note that your requested date(s) cannot be fully secured until a contract agreement is signed.
No. If you already know what you would like to request, you may skip the Zoom meeting and submit the service request form directly. If any additional information is needed before preparing the proposal, contract, or invoice, I will follow up by email.
Yes. Reach & Teach can work with schools using Title funds, public funding, or other approved funding sources, as long as the required vendor, invoicing, and payment processes are arranged in advance.
Once the contract is signed, an invoice will be sent and payment is due upon receipt. Some exceptions may apply, such as when Title funding or district/public funding is being used. In those cases, the district’s required payment process and timeline will apply. Payment instructions will be included on the invoice. Reach & Teach currently accepts payment by Zelle, check, ACH, or international wire. If your school is using Title funds, public funding, or a district payment process, the required payment steps will be handled according to that system.
Coaching is usually a multi-session package that includes 1:1 training on specific topics chosen by the teacher, school leader, or staff member. Each coaching session is prepared in advance and tailored to the person’s needs, goals, and classroom context. Coaching also supports implementation over time through reflection, troubleshooting, and follow-up. Consultation is usually a one-time session focused on a specific question, concern, decision, or situation. It provides guidance, recommendations, and next steps, but does not include prepared training on a topic. Additional consultation sessions may be requested later as needed.
Yes. Certificates for school-level workshops and training packages are provided to the administrator after the training to personalize for the individuals who attended the training(s).
The FITRAH Framework is my originally developed proactive classroom management system for Muslim educators. It helps schools build classroom cultures rooted in fitrah, structure, prevention, tarbiyah, and meaningful accountability. The complete FITRAH Framework training is Reach & Teach's signature training is usually offered over 2–3 days because it is not a single-topic workshop. It includes multiple connected sessions that build on one another, giving staff time to understand the framework, reflect on their current practices, plan practical systems, and apply the strategies to real classroom situations. The third day is optional and can be included for schools that would like additional small-group training, deeper implementation support, planning time, or guided application. It may also be scheduled at a later time, virtually, if preferred.
Trainings can be provided fully in English or in a blend of Arabic and English, depending on the needs of the school and staff. When helpful, I can also work with the school to provide a translated list of key words, terms, and concepts covered in the workshop so teachers can better connect with and apply the content.
